Then Saudi-led coalition targeted Yemen’s Sanaa in a fresh wave of airstrikes on Monday.
Yemen’s Saba news agency reported that the air raids struck Sanaa’s Sanhan and Bani Bahalula districts.
Extensive damage to a number of homes was reported but no word on the casualties.
Saudi Arabia has been leading a destructive military campaign against Yemen since March 2015 to reinstate former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
The campaign devastated the country’s infrastructure killing over 12,000 people including many women and children.
