Saudis Suffer Casualties in Southern Provinces of Asir and Jizan

Dozens of Saudi soldiers were reportedly killed as they attempted to advance on the Al Rabu'eh and Alib crossings in Saudi Arabia’s southern Asir province.

The Yemeni army and popular committees foiled the offensive despite the fact that the operation had air cover from the Saudi-led coalition.

Meanwhile in next-door Jizan two Saudi soldiers were killed in retaliatory actions by Yemeni forces.

A number of Saudi military positions were also shelled in Jizan province.

The Yemenis routinely carry out retaliatory attacks across Saudi Arabia in response to the ongoing bombardment of Yemen, which has killed thousands of innocent civilians and devastated the country’s infrastructure.
