Yemen’s armed forces reportedly carried out a number of operations against Saudi-backed militants in the country’s Jawf province.
Scores of militants were reported killed and wounded in the attack.
The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees, which include the Houthi Ansarullah movement, struck enemy positions in Jawf’s Al Maqata and Shawaqa districts.
The attacks come amid the ongoing Saudi bombardment of Yemen, which has killed over 12,000 people since March 2015.
