According to the Yemeni Al Masira television network, the Saudi-led coalition freed 11 Yemeni fishermen on the evening of April 17.
Those released are among 16 fishermen kidnapped earlier along the Hodeidah coastline.
fishing boats were reportedly targeted by Saudi-led coalition vessels before the 11 were freed. The boat that brought the fishermen to shore was also attacked after the men were dropped off.
The Saudis and their proxies have stepped up their attacks on Hodeida in recent weeks aiming to capture the southwestern Yemeni coastline.
Earlier this year the Saudis killed over 40 Somali refugees during an attack on a vessel off the Hodeida coast.
