Thousands of Yemenis took part in rallies organized in the capital Sanaa to condemn the ongoing Saudi bombardment of their country. Protesters expressed their outrage over both the Saudi-led military campaign against Yemen, which killed over 12,000 people since March 2015 and the international community’s silence.

who took part in the rallies also condemned the continued war crimes being perpetrated against Yemen’s civilians as well as the naval and air blockade of the country, which is literally starving the population.

The UN estimates that up to 18.8 million people - or more than two-thirds of the population - are in need of some form of humanitarian aid as a result of the conflict.
