Yemen’s armed forces reportedly carried out fresh attacks on Saudi military positions inflicting heavy casualties on the opposition.
The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees attacked the kingdom’s southern Jizan province.
According to military sources in Sanaa the assault killed scores of Saudi soldiers and led to the capture of valuable military equipment.
Yemeni forces have been stepping up their attacks inside Saudi Arabia as Riyadh’s military coalition continues to indiscriminately bomb Yemen.
The strikes which kicked-off in March 2015 have killed over 12,000 civilians.
