According to Yemen’s Saba News Agency over 100 Saudi-backed militants were killed during heavy shelling in the Yemeni province of Taiz.

The Yemeni army backed by the country’s popular committees reportedly fired a Qaherm2 ballistic missile and a barrage of Katyusha rockets at militant positions in Taiz’s Mokha district.

Saba reports that the strikes were accurate, causing heavy casualties within militant ranks.

Earlier this week the Sudanese army reported that it lost a number of soldiers in the same area while fighting on behalf of the Saudi-led coalition.
