Another rally condemning the Saudi-led bombardment of Yemen was organized in Sana’a on Monday (March 20).

This time it was the Women Commission of the capital’s Azal district that organized the march.

Hundreds turned out to take part in the rally, vowing that the people of Yemen will remain steadfast in the face of the ongoing Saudi aggression against their country. The protesters also called on the UN Security Council as well as humanitarian organization to help bring an end to the massacre of the Yemeni nation and lift the blockade.

According to the UN half of the Yemeni population - 14.4 million people - is on the verge of starvation.

More than 11,000 people have also been killed since the Saudi-led bombardment began in March 2015.
