In retaliation to the ongoing bombardment of Yemen, the country’s armed forces backed by the popular committees shelled a Saudi army position in the kingdom’s southern province of Najran.
According to military officials in Sana’a the shelling also struck the Qalal al-Shaibany Saudi military site in the neighboring Asir province.
Yemeni forces are also fired Katyusha rockets at the Saudi Utar military camp in Jizan province. The attacks reportedly resulted in heavy Saudi losses.
Meanwhile dozens of Saudi-backed militants were reportedly killed in Yemen’s Mareb province after their positions in the al-Rabia'a valley and the Serwah distract were shelled.
Yemeni forces have enjoyed a great deal of success in their wave of retaliatory attacks against Saudi forces both inside their country as well as north of the border.
