Two people were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in al-Qurashiah district of Baidha province, a security official told the state-run news agency Saba on Wednesday.
The explosive device was planted by unknown assailants on the main road in Moka area.
The official called on residents to cooperate with the security agencies and popular forces in reporting any suspected objects to maintain security.
