Civilians killed in Saudi Strike in Hajjah

At least three Yemeni civilians were killed in an airstrike by the US-backed Saudi aggression jets on Harad District of Hajjah province overnight, a local official told the state-run news agency Saba on Friday.

The hostile raid targeted a citizen’s house in al-Mazraq area in the district, killing a women and two children and injuring another child.

Saudi Arabia has been engaged in a deadly campaign against Yemen since March 2015 in an attempt to reinstall the former Yemeni government.

The offensive has claimed 11,403 lives and left 19,343 others wounded, according to figures compiled by the Legal Center for Rights and Development, a Yemeni non-governmental monitoring group.
