Hodeida residents staged a rally on Monday to condemn war crimes committed by the US-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people.

The protest called for the mobilization of the troops to the fronts for confronting the US-Saudi aggression.

The demonstration was attended by chairman of the Revolutionary Committees, Mohammed Ail al-Houthi and the Secretary General of the local council Ali al-Qawzi.

Al-Houthi praised the heroic stances of Tehama residents and their role in supplying the front lines.
Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
