Saudi Warplanes Launch Strikes on Capital

The US-Saudi aggression fighter jets launched five strikes on Ma'en district of the capital Sana'a, an official told the state-run news agency Saba on Tuesday.

The war planes hit the Aviation Faculty five times, causing heavy damage to nearby houses and public properties, as well as the faculty, the official added.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
