Coalition Fighter Jets Launch Air Strikes on Mareb

The US-Saudi aggression fighter jets on Monday launched three air strikes on houses in Serwah district of Mareb province, a local official told the state-run news agency Saba.

The air strikes hit the house of Ali Mohammed al-Hussaini and a number of neighboring houses in Habab valley area three times, causing heavy damage to the houses, the official said.

Saudi Arabia has been engaged in a deadly campaign against Yemen since March 2015 in an attempt to reinstall the former Yemeni government.

The offensive has claimed 11,403 lives and left 19,343 others wounded, according to figures compiled by the Legal Center for Rights and Development, a Yemeni non-governmental monitoring group.
