Seven people were killed and 20 others injured by Saudi airstrikes against Yemen on Friday.

The sorties launched by the Saudi aggression targeted the governorates of Hajjah, Hodeidah, Marib and Taiz, a security source told SABA.

The attacks also caused big damages in the areas attacked, the source noted.

Saudi Arabia has been carrying out deadly airstrikes in Yemen since March.

The Saudi military aggression, backed by the United States, has been attacking Yemen since March 26 - without a UN mandate. UN estimates say over 2,600, mostly civilians, have been killed and another 9,755 wounded as a result of the ongoing attacks on Yemen.

The US-led Saudi aggression began in an attempt to bring the fugitive former Yemeni president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who is a close ally of Saudi Arabia, back to power, and to weaken the Houthi Ansarullah movement which is currently responding to the Saudi attacks.
