Yemen Revolutionary Youths Movement strongly condemned Sunday’s attack that targeted Qaifah area of Baidha province.

The US-sponsored massacre killed more than 57 people, including women and children.

The movement said in a press statement to the state-run news agency Saba that “the U.S. action represents a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Yemen, international laws and conventions”.

The movement called on the United Nations Security Council and the international community to carry out their responsibilities to stop the continuing massacres committed on a daily basis by the U.S. and Saudi aggression against the Yemeni civilians

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
