The Small Enterprise Development Fund (SEDF) offered 301 soft loans amounting to YR 95.3 million in Hodeida province in 2016, the Director General of Hodaida branch said Monday.
Abdo Isa said 222 of the YR79 million loans were given to men and 79 loans worth YR16.3 million were given to women.
He indicated to the difficulties facing the fund and the debtors, saying many of the enterprises were suspended as a result of the Saudi aggression against the country that caused a total power cut and hikes of oil derivatives prices.
