At least three members of a family were killed and eight others wounded, when the US-Saudi aggression fighter jets dropped on Friday a cluster bomb on their house in Nehm district of Sana'a province, an official told the state-run news agency Saba.

The victims were two children and their mother, while the injured were rushed to hospital.

The air strike left heavy damage to tens of citizens' houses and properties in Dabawah area of the same district.

Through the March 2015-present military campaign, Saudi Arabia has been unsuccessfully seeking to return power to Yemen’s former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

The Yemeni army and allied fighters have been defending the nation against the invasion, which has claimed over 11,400 lives, according to the latest tallies.
