PM Offers Condolences over Berlin Terror Attack

Yemen’s Prime Minister Abdul Aziz Bin Habtoor sent a cable of condolences to German Chancellor Angela Merkel over victims of the terrorist act, which targeted a market in Berlin.

In his cable, the premier expressed solidarity with Chancellor Merkel, the victims’ families and all of the German people in this painful incident, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Dr. Bin Habtoor condemned the cowardly act against innocent people. He pointed out that the succession of terrorist operations in more than one country confirms that those who support and stand behind these terrorist acts are a single party.

He called for confirming the effective international cooperation in the fight against terrorism.

On Monday night, a truck plowed through a crowd at a Berlin Christmas market, killing 12 people and wounding more than 50 others.

A massive manhunt is underway to find the perpetrator.
