Several areas across Yemen came under fire by the Saudi-led coalition’s war machine.

The US-backed Saudi aggression fighter jets launched eight air strikes on several governorates overnight, officials stated on Monday.

In Hodiadah province, the fighter jets targeted al-Jabanah area with two air raids.

In Sanaa governorate, five airstrikes were launched against al-Karn Mountain and al-Hanashat area of Nehm district.

The warplanes also struck Karash area in Lahij province.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,400 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
