The US-baked Saudi aggression warplanes launched three airstrikes on Sana’a governorate overnight, a security official told state-run news agency Saba Saturday.

The strikes bombed Naqil Yasleh mountainous road of Belad al-Rous district, the latest in a series of barbaric air strikes aimed to cut off the highway linking Sana’a with the southern governorates.

The strikes also caused damage to public and private properties.
Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,400 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
