Saudi Airstrikes Kill Four Children in Marib

Four children of a family were killed and four others including women and children wounded, in an air raid by the Saudi-led coalition warplanes on Habbab Valley in Serwah district of Marb province overnight, an official told the state-run news agency Saba on Thursday.

The raid destroyed the home of the Yemeni citizen Hussein Saleh Mashtan, killing four of his children and critically injuring him and his wife, as well two others.

The injured were rushed to the hospital in the capital Sana’a.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,400 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
