Army Destroys M1 Abrams Tank, Demolishes Saudi Military Locations

The Yemeni army and popular forces destroyed a Saudi M1 Abrams tank in Manfath Al Bogah border cross point, killing its crew, a military official disclosed on Monday.

The missile forces of the army and popular committees also destroyed a number of Saudi locations in Najran and Asir.

The missiles targeted Alib military headquarters and Bin Laden Company, directly hitting the targets.

The shelling also Al Msial Saudi military site in Asir.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,400 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.

Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
