South Korea Provides 1Mln USD for Yemen

South Korea has announced the provision of 1 million dollars as a support for the Yemeni people to alleviate the humanitarian situations in the country.

In a statement by the South Korean embassy in Sana’a, the embassy affirmed that the government of South Korea will provide one million dollars as a financial support for the Yemeni people through international organizations to alleviate the humanitarian situation.

The statement pointed out that Seoul will stand by the Yemeni people and will exert its efforts to help Yemen until security, peace and stability are achieved.

Last year, South Korea provided one million dollars for Yemen through the International Organization for Migration (IOM), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the World Food Program (WFP) for the implementation of relief and humanitarian works.
