The missile and artillery units of the Yemeni army and popular forces fired on gatherings and sites of Saudi soldiers in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan, Najran and Asir provinces, a military official revealed on Thursday.
In Jizan, the missile forces fired Saudi soldiers’ gathering in Jalah military center, burning the posts.
The missile units also destroyed mercenaries` military vehicles in the Medi desert.
In Najran, the rocketry units fired Katyusha missiles on the positions of soldiers in al-Sudays military posts, hitting the targets directly.
In Asir, the artillery units bombarded the Saudi troops in Kamahat al-Sheihk military sites.
The operation came in retaliation to the Saudi-led coalition’s air military escalation that targeting citizen`s houses and civilians’ farms.
The Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
