The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees forces targeted a gathering of Saudi-paid mercenaries with mortar shells in Kahbob district of Lahj province, an army official revealed on Thursday.
The shelling caused direct casualties in the southeast side of Kahbob.
The Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
