In retaliation to the ongoing Saudi-led military campaign, Yemen’s armed forces have launched a wave of attacks against the kingdom’s military installations.

Backed by the Popular Committee forces, which includes the Ansarullah movement, the Yemeni army targeted military camps in Saudi Arabia’s southern Najran and Jizan provinces

According to Yemeni security officials, artillery fire against the al-Kirs military camp in Jizan and the Al-Hamar Raqabat military camp in Najran was launched late on Wednesday (November 2), "inflicting heavy looses" on Saudi troops and equipment.

The attacks reportedly killed and wounded dozens of Saudi soldiers.

Meanwhile Yemeni forces fired Katyusha rockets at Najran’s Al-Khadra’a, which houses Saudi-backed mercenaries.

In recent months Yemeni troops have managed to cross deep into Saudi territory and carry out raids against Riyadh’s army. Rockets fired from Yemen have also struck startigic military sites in Saudi Arabia.
