The Saudi aggression warplanes launched at least 25 air raids on Nehm district of Sana’a province overnight, a security official said on Thursday.

Four airstrikes targeted Bani Bariq area and Al khawther Mounts. Several areas in the same district were also bombarded, heavily damaging houses and farms, the official said.

The Saudi aggression has recently focused on destroying and burning farms, trees and crops, in an attempt to increase famine and starvation among the 25 million Yemenis.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
