The president of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Saleh Al-Sammad, met on Wednesday with Dr. Abdul-Aziz Bin Habtour who is assigned to form a government of national salvation.
During the meeting, the SPC President was briefed on the processes being undertaken to form the government, in addition to ideas to promote the quality of the government duties to achieve the required success under the current situation as well as the Saudi-American aggression and siege.
Al-Sammad praised the professionalism of Bin Habtour, affirming that the SPC will provide the support needed for this government to succeed.
Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement and allies have, who form the Supreme Political Council, had appointed Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, a former governor of the province of Aden, as the head of the new government and tasked him to form a cabinet.
