Supreme Political Council Issues Decrees, Economic Reforms

The president of Supreme Political Council, Saleh al-Sammad, on Sunday night issued a number of decrees and economic reforms.

The decisions were made in a meeting held in the capital with the members of the council.

The decrees called for the promotion of civil servants’ who are commited to their jobs in state institutions.

The Supreme Political Council urged to continue on this path to ensure reforms to the civil service according to the laws and approved strategies.

The decrees also ordered related government institutions to complete addressing arrears of the individuals and private sectors to be paid off to the state in the coming period.

The decision also recommended activating the customs control in accordance with the customs law, placing exports and imports of oil derivatives under the custom authority mechanism.

The decrees also ordered licensing people’s cars, directing the council of acting ministers to issue resolution to organize the process.

The political council also directed related institutions to quickly solve the problems of goods left years ago in the customs ports, and quickly fix the fourth port of Hodayda city after which has been repeatedly damaged by the Saudi-led aggression air strikes.

The council directed the presidential office to draft a proposal for forming a committee for prisoners and missing people.
