Fresh Saudi Airstrikes Hit Yemeni Capital, Some Provinces

The Saudi-led aggression war jets have launched a series of air raids on the capital Sana’a and some provinces, a military official said Friday.

The Saudi fighter jets targeted Sana’a international airport with four raids.

The warplanes launched raids on several areas in Baqem district in Sa’ada province.

The telecommunications network in Alaf area in Sehar district was also hit with an air raid.

The Saudi-led coalition also targeted al-Hasamah area with two air raids and Namesah Bridge in al-Dhaher district in Sa’ada with two air raids.

The aggression waged four raids on Wadi al-Zagan area in Serwah district in Mareb province.

Nine raids struck Haradh district in Hajjah province.

In Jizan region, the Saudi fighter jets targeted al-Dukhan military site with nine raids.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
