The Saudi warplanes launched on Wednesday more than 15 raids on several areas in Baqem district of Sa’ada province, a security official said.

The warplanes targeted Manbda and Wadi al-Thu’aban areas and Baqem city causing huge damage to private properties.

The warplanes also targeted a car on the main road in al-Zamah area with an air raid.

Sehar district in the province was also the site of Saudi bombardment.

Coalition warplanes targeted a school in al-Aqab area completely destroying it.

Ahouse in Shada district was struck and destroyed too.

The fighter jets pounded al-Shaikh and al-Omar areas in Munabah district with rockets causing huge damage to private properties in the two areas.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
