The Saudi war jets launched on Tuesday more than 22 raids on Sa’ada province and Jizan region, a military official said.

The air raids targeted al-Malahdh and al-Dhaia’a areas in al-Dhaher border district in Sa’ada with 10 raids.

The official said that the Saudi war jets also targeted Kahlan area and a police camp in Sa’ada city with two strikes.

The aggression’s war jets pounded each of Um-al-Fatah area in Baqem district and al-Safra district with an air raid.

The official added the fighter jets launched another eight raids on Wadi Jarah area and several areas in Khubah city in Jizan region.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.

Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
