The Saudi warplanes launched on Sunday several raids on Jizan region and Sa’ada province.

A security official said the warplanes targeted several areas in Khubah city in Jizan with 23 air raids.

The warplanes targeted also Shada and al-Dhaher districts in Sa’ada with two raids. The fighter jets also pounded a house in Juma’a Ben Fadel area in Haidan district with a rocket.

No casualties were reported in the raids.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
