The Saudi-led coalition fighter jets launched on Friday a series of air raids on several areas in Sa’ada province.

A security official said that the fighter jets targeted al-Habra area in Razeh with two raids and al-Kharban area in Haidan district with an air raid.

The fighter jets also targeted each of al-Salem area in Kutaf district and al-Masahef area in Baqem area with a raid, the official added.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
