Saudi War Jets Launch Raids Against Yemeni Provinces

The Saudi war jets waged on Thursday air raids on al-Ghail district of Jawf province, a local official said.

The official added the war planes targeted al-Ordhi, al-Adhabah and al-Maqatea areas in the district, leaving huge damage to houses and farms.

An airstrike also targeted the al-Mashjah area in Serwah district of Mareb province.

Meanwhile, the Riyadh’s militamen pounded houses and farms in al-Matar, Nushor and Hialan areas in the province.

In Sana’a province, at least three people were injured in Saudi air raids on Hamdan district.

A local official said the raids targeted a petrol station in the district, killing the three people.

Different areas in the Capital Sana’a were also the targets of Saudi bombardment.

The warplanes struck the 21st September park, 22nd May complex and al-Seyanah area with twelve air raids and al-Jabal al-Aswad area overlooking on Aser zone with one airstrikes.

The air raids caused huge damage to public and private properties as well as houses in the areas.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
