At least six women have been killed in airstrikes by the Saudi-led military coalition, officials said on Thursday.

The coalition jets conducted 95 air strikes across yemen.
Health officials confirmed the death of three women in Taiz province.

Resident from the northern border province of Saada reported 20 air raids against the provincial capital city where three women were killed and wounded eight others.

The escalating areal bombing comes just three days after a bombing on a hospital run by Doctors Without Borders and killed at least 20 patients in the northern province of Hajja.

The coalition escalated its aggression following the collapse of the UN-sponsored peace talks between rival Yemeni parties in Kuwait.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 10,000 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
