Thousands of Yemeni converged on the capital Sana’a to take part in a mass rally titled "the responsibility of the free world to stop the aggression and siege."

The demonstrators took to the streets in response to calls by Yemen’s Supreme Revolutionary Committee.

In a press statement, the Committee confirmed that the continued US brutal Saudi aggression and unjust blockade on Yemen in the light of the international silence holds the free people of the world the responsibility to make their voices heard and put pressure on the international community and the United Nations to stop the aggression and lift the unjust blockade.

The committee also pointed to the importance of the continuous organization of marches and vigils to bring the voice of the people of Yemen to the free world, and to hold Saudi-led coalition states accountable for their crimes against the Yemeni people.

The capital Sana’a was the site of a mass demonstration on March 26 to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Saudi-led aggression against Yemen.
