An improvised explosive device (IED) exploded on Tuesday in the main road in the western city of Ibb province, a security official said.
No casualties were reported, the official added.
He explained that the IED was planted in the middle pavement of the road and its blast resulted in smashing of four cars.
The official called on citizens to cooperate with security services to fight such crimes that aim at disturbing the public peace and destabilizing security and stability of the country.
