The Saudi-led coalition launched on Thursday eight sorties on different areas of Serwah district in Mareb province.

The Saudi aggression targeted Souk Serwah and other neighboring areas, causing severe damage to houses and trade shops, a local official said.

The Saudi led-coalition launched on Wednesday more than 20 air raids on Serwah district. The raids targeted al-Haqil and al-Malh areas in an attempt to support its mercenaries in the areas.

On February 15, the Saudi warplanes bombed the house of Mahmoud bin Huzeim in al-Deeq valley in Serwah district. The house was completely destroyed.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 8,300 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
