Saudi Airstrike Kills One in Taiz

One person was killed and seven others were wounded in the Saudi aggression air raids on several areas of Taiz province on Wednesday.

A local official said that a citizen was killed in a raid that targeted a truck in al-Jadeed area of Bab al-Mandab district, adding that three others were injured in another raid that targeted a house.

The official pointed out that three citizens were wounded by airstrikes on al-Abos area of Hifan district.

Several bombings targeted different parts of al-Hitari and al-Kharas mountains in Hifan district, one of which targeted a truck in Thi Samer area, destroying the vehicle and injuring the driver.

Moreover, the aggression war jets launched over seven raids on the district in an attempt to support the mercenaries.

The raids destroyed the ground telecommunication network and caused damage to a mosque in the district.

Yemen has been under military attacks by Saudi Arabia since March 26. The Saudi military strikes were launched with the aim of undermining Ansarullah and bringing fugitive former president of Yemen, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, back to power.

More than 8,300 people have been killed and over 16,000 others injured since the Saudi aerial aggression began. The Saudi war has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
