At least 16 citizens were killed and seven others injured in an initial toll of the aggression raids on Nehm district of Sana’a province on Wednesday.

In a statement, a security official said the warplanes targeted three houses in Wadi al-Melh, killing 13 people and wounding seven others.

He added that the rescue teams are continuing to pull bodies from under the rubble.

The official pointed out that the fighter jets targeted a car on the main road in Bani Hajil area of the district, which killed three people and caused damage to the nearby houses.

Yemen has been under military attacks by Saudi Arabia since March 26. The Saudi military strikes were launched with the aim of undermining Ansarullah and bringing fugitive former president of Yemen, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, back to power.

More than 8,300 people have been killed and over 16,000 others injured since the Saudi aerial aggression began. The Saudi war has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
