The Saudi aggression war jets intensified their raids on Friday on several areas in the capital Sana’a.

The warplanes targeted at dawn today a power generator of the Fun City Park neighboring al-Sabeen Square with high-explosive bombs, which caused a fire outbreak in the park, a local official explained.

A number of people were injured in the bombing, which also led to large damage to a neighboring school, residential buildings and private and public property.

Coalition fighter jets also bombed the area between the celebration platform and Al-Saleh Mosque in al-Sabeen Square, causing damage to the mosque and the platform.

Yemen has been under airstrikes by Saudi Arabia since March 26 last year. The Saudi strikes have been meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and bring Hadi back to power.

Nearly 8,280 people, among them 2,236 children, have reportedly been killed and over 16,000 others injured. The strikes have also taken a heavy toll on the impoverished country’s infrastructure, destroying many hospitals, schools, and factories.
