Four citizens were killed by a Saudi airstrike targeted their house in Bani al-Haddad area in Harad district of Hajjah province on Thursday.

The rescue teams are still searching for victims under the rubble, an official at the joint operations room in the province said to Saba.

Meanwhile, Saudi-led coalition fighter jets dropped bombs on al-Sawad area and Khawlan district of Sana’a province.

According to security officials the bombing caused serious damage to the nearby residential neighborhood and the agricultural land in the area.

Yemen has been under airstrikes by Saudi Arabia since March 26 last year. The Saudi strikes have been meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and bring fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, back to power.

Nearly 8,280 people, among them 2,236 children, have reportedly been killed and over 16,000 others injured. The strikes have also taken a heavy toll on the impoverished country’s infrastructure, destroying many hospitals, schools, and factories.
