A child was killed and six others were wounded in two airstrikes launched by the Saudi fighter jets on Nehm district of Sana’a province on Tuesday.

The child Shihab al-Hojail was martyred and six others were seriously injured when the warplanes targeted Ayn al-Shah bridge in al-Hojail area in the district.

Airstrikes also targeted the areas of al-Hafa and Noqum near Khawlan Street in the east of the capital.

This as four raids were also launched on Bani Matar district of Sana’a province.

In Dhamar province, one person was killed and seven others wounded when Saudi fighter jets pounded the security administration of al-Sharq city Jabal al-Sharq district.

Yemen has been under a deadly siege over the past 10 months as Riyadh continues to attack areas across the country in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and allied military units.

The air campaign, which has killed more than 8,300 people since it was unleashed late March last year, is meant to restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.
