Saudi Bombing Claims Civilian Lives in Sa’ada

A woman and her daughter were killed on Monday in Saudi bombardment on Marran area in Hidan district of Sa’ada province.

The Saudi-led coalition targeted al-Thera’a village in Marran area with rockets, which killed of the woman and her daughter while they were at a water well in the area, a security official explained.

The Saudi-led coalition warplanes also launched a series of raids on houses in Sharawa area in the district of Baqem.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes have been meant to undermine Ansarullah and restore power to Hadi.

About 8,300 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi war has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.

Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
