Mareb Province Targeted by Saudi Airstrikes

The Saudi-led coalition fighter jets have launched 25 air raids on scattered areas of Mareb province.

A local official stated that the warplanes waged over 20 raids on Jawf junction, al-Fardha and al-Khaneq areas and the public road between Sana’a and Mareb.

The aggression war jets launched another four raids on Serwah district of the province.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes have been meant to undermine Ansarullah and restore power to Hadi.

About 8,300 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi war has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.

Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
