The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees including the Houthi Ansarullah movement destroyed three gunboats belonging to the Saudi-led coalition forces off Mokha port in Taiz province, a military official said on Thursday.
The allied force fired guided missiles at the boats, which were moving in the Yemeni coasts and attacking citizens and public and private installations, the official explained.
He confirmed that the missiles hit their targets accurately, which led to the destruction of vessels.
