The Yemeni army and popular committees have repulsed attempts by the Saudi army and its mercenaries to advance on the western front of al-Tewal and Harad.
A military official said that tens of Saudi soldiers and their hirelings were killed and wounded in the battles with the allied forces.
The Saudi army sustained large losses in its troops and military equipment despite the intense air and ground support.
