The security services and the popular committees have arrested a number of extremists from the Saudi aggression mercenaries at an entrance of Yemen’s capital Sana’a on Tuesday.

A security source explained to SABA news agency that the extremist elements were coming from Yemen’s Marib province on board of a car, noting that one of the extremists was wearing an explosive belt.

Investigations are underway to track down any involved elements to arrest them and bring them to justice, the source further added.

Furthermore, the Yemeni security source called on citizens to cooperate with the security services and the popular committee forces through reporting any suspects associated with the extremist elements.

This is while a Saudi-led coalition backed by the United States has been carrying out a military aggression on Yemen by launching airstrikes against the country since March 26.

The airstrikes have not been authorized by the United Nations [UN].
